I love the flamingo fabric I used to make this bag. I wish I could post a picture of it. Some of the yardage is too much but I guess too much is better then not enough. If I make another one, I am going to iron the woven interfacing onto the fabric before cutting out the patterns.
One question: The instructions say to leave off the woven interfacing on the front piece that gets the pocket. I accidentally ironed mine on and then didn’t see when I was supposed to put it on. Maybe that front panel shouldn’t have woven interfacing? If not, then the instructions should say cut 3 instead of 4.

I enjoyed sewing this pattern it was simple, yet the fabric I chose and wrong needle size made a challenge. (Broke 3 needle, light weight point, “what was I thinking?”) But it made my Aloha oufitt much spontaneous.

Thank you, swoon pattern. I’m definitely a permanent fan. I will lost photos if it allows me.

This is a cute roomy bag. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, even for a beginner. I like that the pattern suggested a contrasting fabric in certain areas. It is important to follow the directions, though. The multiple interfacings can seem odd, but when it comes together it will make sense. The swoon community is also a great resource for ideas and questions.
