This is such a fun pattern! This is only the second bag pattern I’ve ever made, and I jumped right in with lots of vinyl and the large commuter size. I took the steps one at a time and it came out great!

It’s a great handbag with two stylish outside pockets. It’s my favorite pattern so far. The most difficult part for me is the handles connectors. It’s fun to play with fabric combinations

One of my first bag patterns as a beginner. Easy to read and fun to make! The main zipper confused me a little but the Facebook group was eager to help. Love this pattern and company!

This is an incredibly put together pattern! I love making this one, as the front panel leaves a LOT of room for fun designs or highlighting a part of a print. I chose to connectors from another bag (Blanche) for the bag in my photo. I wouldn’t call this a beginner pattern, but more like intermediate. You want to be comfortable with zipper installation first. This one can be a little tricky, but if you take your time and do it carefully, it will always come out perfect.

I made the smaller Annette as my first-ever handbag when I started sewing 2 years ago, and I still get compliments from strangers when I have it on my arm. I love it! I have since learned that instructions in Swoon patterns are excellent, which is one reason I was so successful even on my first attempt. I didn’t know that I’d become addicted to making handbags, so I didn’t even take good photos of it… I was too excited to use it and show it off. Great design and well-written pattern!

Love this pattern. I made the large one in leather. There are so many possibilities with this pattern and the instructions are really written so well that it’s a breeze to make

This pattern is great and easy to understand! As long as you’re patient, your bag will turn out perfect. This was the first pattern I’ve bought from swoon, and it definitely isn’t going to be my last.

Great pattern! Came out beautifully the first time. Friends thought it was a designer bag. I consider myself an advanced beginning sewist. You can do this!
