Too many pieces! For me this was a daunting task, now that I have made one, I will be able to understand the directions better. It should be noted that the lining is made separate and these are combined at the end, I found it very confusing, but I am sure it is me and not the instructions. I will post a picture when done!

    I love this bag!
I find the pattern quite easy to follow, not too long, no too short, instructions are very clear and easy to understand.
The bag is quite spacious with a lot of pockets for all the necessary baby stuff.

I have made a total of three bags with this pattern. This first was a little tricky, but they with practice it gets easier. This is such a great pattern and a fun sew. Thanks!

I made this bag when I first started out making bags about 8 months ago, I skipped the end pockets as this was for me as a work bag. The only problem I had was I used oil cloth and my machine struggled. Pattern was easy to follow, I love this bag and use it daily

This was my first swoon pattern to make. There are a lot of pieces but the pattern was very well written and I didn’t have any issues.

I want to purchace this pattern. But I want to use a crocodile textured vimyl for the main part and a printed nursery flannel for the lining. I was wonder could this bag be made out of vinyl?

I love this pattern. Not only is it a great learning pattern, but it turns out a BEAUTIFUL baby shower gift! Don’t let the zipper or pockets intimidate you, the instructions are clear and consise!

nice pattern. but the bottom piece could have been designed better. A rectangle is easier to sew than an oval. plus, if you use leather in your photos, then you should include leather sewing instruction.

Belle is a superbly written pattern that will produce a very professional result, a bag much more special than any commercially available bag made in China. Sewing experience will definitely be an asset but isn’t necessary to complete the project as long as you use common sense, read carefully and have patience as it is a detailed bag. As in all Swoon patterns the diagrams are impeccable. You will surprise yourself and everyone else with your finished Belle Baby Bag!

Swoon has the best handbag patterns in the business. They are clear and concise without pages of superfluous detail, which is the pitfall of many bag designers today (one pattern I bought from a competitor had over 70 pages of notes. Who has time for that?) Swoon’s designer has a definite talent for explaining bag construction in an effective manner. I always go back to Swoon!

This bag is a waste of valuable time the instructions are very poor read it over and over could not make any sense of it gave up with frustration been making bags for over 60 years

This bag is great! It has a lot of pieces! As a first time bag maker some of the instructions were confusing, but I was able to understand them after rereading them about a thousand times! The bag ended up a little smaller than I thought it would, but it is still plenty big for all of my baby-outing needs! I worked on it a little bit each day so it took me about a week to make it.
