Dorothy Day Tripper

(13 customer reviews)

A vintage-inspired carry-all that includes a zipper, piping, and two large pocket panels (one large pocket on the outside and 2 small ones on the inside). This is great for a short day or weekend trip, an airline carry-on, or just as a large purse. This would also make a great kid’s overnight bag! You will need 1/2 yard additional fabric if you are making your own piping.

I just LOVE dorothy, Its is such a cute bag and so practical. I made this a gift (dance bag) for my niece. She absolutely loved it and has tons of room in it for all her dance stuff. I think dorothy doesn’t get as much credit as she deserves. Its it a very cute, fairly simple pattern. I just love it.

Made a bunch of these last year as gifts and kept forgetting to come back and leave a review…. The recipients are still using these daily as a knitting bag and a travel bag to and from work.

I freaked out when I started, but once I was in the swing of it I lost all fear, so we’ll written and easy to follow. I made the Dorothy as a mini nappy bag for my sister in law and now I am jealous I gave it to her. Thanks heaps for an awesome pattern

I made this bag for my mom as a Christmas present. She loves it! It is roomy without being bulky. My favorite part is that the zipper opens the top up nice and wide so you can find what you need inside of it. The instructions for the zipper are excellently written so that you can clearly see how to install the zipper. It’s always nerve wracking for me, but I like putting zippers in this way.

I have made two, one for my daughter and one for me. Following the clear instructions and with some intermediate skills you can easily have a cute bag in a weekend.

Parece más dificil de lo que realmente es, aunque las instrucciones están en inglés, si tienes conocimientos intermedios de costura y con ayuda de los gráficos podrás estrenar esta belleza de bolso.
