Ramona Mini Hipster

(4 customer reviews)

Ramona is a slim hipster-style bag with an adjustable crossbody strap. A recessed zipper keeps your things secure and an oval-shaped bottom provides just enough room for it all. She’s a relatively fast sew and easily customizable.

Love this quick little pattern. It is an easy sew with a lot of personality. Perfect for the girl on the go. I’ve sewn this multiple times. Swoon patterns are so easy to understand, making this great for beginners. Unfortunately, you’ll be hooked on bag making forever!

This was my first swoon pattern I made and my first hand bag. It was very easy to understand the pattern. I sewed it on my vintage Singer 301A sewing machine. Only had a little trouble with the top stitching. I’ll use a heavier machine next time like the Vintage Singer 15-91 I just got.. Be sure to cut your strips that go across the bag on the wrong side of the fabric, otherwise they will end up opposite of what they are in the picture on the pattern. This is a great pattern and perfect size, especially for young girls to carry. I made it for my 12 year old in Star Wars fabric and she loved it.

A cute, small, hipster bag. This is another quick and easy pattern Alicia put together. There are so many ways you can customize this bag into your perfect quick trip needs. You can also change up the stripes or leave them off. Add a zippered pocket (see the blog for a few different instructions on how to add various poskets), add a slip pocket.
