My new favorite bag from Swoon. It’s also a record for bag sewing. I have done three bags so far in less than 1 month and have my 4th cut out. The directions are easy to follow, and if you get stuck, the Facebook group is a great aid. I also love the roominess in this bag. Holds all my basic essentials with room to spare.

What an amazing bag! From the moment I started to the moment I ended, I loved this bag. Many kudos to the Facebook group for help whenever I was a bit confused. Love how easy these bags are to make. Was surprised at the size. The best compliment I
received was when someone said “you didn’t make that.” It shows how beautiful the bag truly is and a great testament to the professional look.

I really like the Glenda because it’s very sophisticated and with the right fabric choices can be a killer on a date night. I made my first Glenda with brocade and satin, and loved it! Plus the ladies in the Facebook group are like family and very willing to help another swooner out. I also think not just this pattern but all of her patterns have in depth instructions which are easy to follow.

I am loving this pattern! This pattern is beginner friendly and the directions were easy for me to understand. I was using my very first Glenda and someone asked where I got it and I told them I made it. They ordered one right on the spot.

My absolute favorite pattern! It challenged me as a beginner but confident bag maker and I learned so much! The end product was so worth it and now I’ve made so many!

The purses I’ve made with this pattern get a ton of complements whenever anybody sees one. It is an easy pattern to see up, but a little tricky at the zippered divider depending on your machine. It is great to show off a special fabric that is fussy cut for the flap.

I’ve made this bag twice – both with great results! This purse is a great size if you just want room for a wallet and a few other things. I had a bit of a hard time figuring out how the sides were supposed to look, but a quick peek at the Facebook group and all the creations there solved my issue. It certainly helps when you get a pattern from a company that has a super-active Facebook group – always someone there ready to give advice!

Love this pattern! The finished product looks so professional and simply adorable. The instructions are clear and quite easy to follow, even for me who just began sewing purses. The Facebook group is fabulous and such a comfort knowing there is help at nearly any time of the day or night if you need!
This is my first Swoon pattern but definitely won’t be my last

For my very first swoon, this was so easy! Directions were clear, everything worked out perfectly! Glenda became an on the go diaper clutch but I’ll definitely be making her again! Next up: charlotte, melody and Stella! 🙂 oh. And Coraline too!! 😉

This purse is not for the faint of heart. The instructions are easy to follow. I had difficulty with the layers on the strap and sides. I did learn a lot though.
