I have made 2 of these, the first one to match a dress. The only roses fabric I could find was a voile, so I backed it with some white cotton. I used a pink lining fabric for the inside and the handle, and added a divided slip pocket using the roses voile and cotton with a nickel twist lock. It matched my dress perfectly and is adorable! The second one was made using a cherry print on navy, with a red faux leather case handle. I used a brass effect twist lock and added brass bag feet. It looks fabulous!

My first bag looks great. Even my thread work is not good. The end result is great! I got compliment evrywhere. I wish this has zipper closure so my stuff is secure. Oh well, there is always the next project.
